About Our Sorority

Welcome to the Alpha Theta Beta Sorority website! AOB was the first Greek organization established at Hofstra University in 1936, recognized in 1939.  Our sorority stands out from the rest as we are all unique but similar in certain ways.  The sisters all have varying career paths and goals, but we all value and uphold to our motto, “Sisterhood, Sincerity, and Cooperation”.  We work hard and care greatly for our communities surrounding us. However, don't get me wrong, working is not all we do! We also enjoy the fun and special moments sisterhood bonding pertains! Greek Week, Homecoming, Mixers, or just going out on the town - you name it - we love to have fun!
